Dr Alexander Yusupov - specialist orthodontist
Dr Alexander Yusupov is a Registered Specialist Orthodontist. He obtained his Dentistry Degree from Melbourne University in 1989. He was awarded the best student award, as well as 6 other academic and clinical awards (The ADA Prize, The John Illife Scholarship twice, the Dez Crack Memorial Pedodontic Prize, the Oral Surgery Prize and the Oral Medicine Medal). He completed his Master's Degree in Orthodontics in 1992, and since then he has been in private practice.
Dr Yusupov is a member of Australian Dental Association (ADA), Australian Society of Orthodontists (ASO), Australasian Society of Lingual Orthodontics, World Federation of Orthodontists and is on the advisory committee of the prestigious Melbourne Seattle Study Club.
Dr Yusupov has also completed extensive courses in Lingual Orthodontics, and is one of the very few practitioners who offers this new technique to his adult patients.
Dr Yusupov is a respected lecturer in Australia and overseas. He runs clinical courses on Lingual orthodontics, clinical photography and complex multidisciplinary treatments.
Ms Alaina Lendon
Ms Alaina Lendon - registered therapist and hygienist. Alaina has been working with Dr Yusupov since 2004. She brings with her years of experience in both dental therapy (dentistry for children) and hygiene. Alaina has a quiet, often philosophical nature that makes adults and children respond and like being treated by her. She is instrumental in motivating our patients to keep their teeth and gums healthy during their orthodontic treatment.
